## About this site

### The source

- Business Licenses , City of Chicago, Business Affairs and Consumer Protection. File
downloaded on October 2, 2026.

### What this site is not

- **Not the City of Chicago**, and not affiliated with or endorsed by it.
- **Not a ranking**: lists are alphabetical.
- **Not a directory of people**: owners' names are never used, and a licensee named after a person is shown under the trade name only.

**For owners and managers: does
your company have 30 to 200 employees?**

AI labs pay companies to license their internal workflows (SOPs,
documentation, support tickets), anonymized and under contract. You keep ownership and pay nothing.

**Describe your company in 2 minutes →**
Offered by Registres, an independent data gateway. Not affiliated with the City of Chicago.
